Childcare That Works for Your Family
At Birtle View Day Nursery, we provide flexible childcare for babies, toddlers and preschool children, including full-day and half-day sessions alongside funded early education places for eligible families.
We aim to make our fees as clear and straightforward as possible, so you know what to expect when choosing the right childcare arrangement for your family.
Our Nursery Fees
Full Day (7.30am-6pm): £73.50
Morning Session (8am-1pm): £47.50
Afternoon Session (1-6pm): £47.50
Full Funded Day (8am-6pm): £13.50
Morning Funded Session (8am-1pm): £6.75
Afternoon Funded Session (1-6pm): £6.75
Our funded places are available to families who meet the relevant eligibility requirements and are subject to availability.
We offer a 10% sibling discount and a 10% NHS discount. We also have a fee increase January each year.
All Inclusive Pricing
Our all-inclusive pricing is designed to give parents peace of mind, knowing that everything their child needs throughout the day is already covered, with no hidden extras.
Your fees cover:
- Healthy, balanced meals and snacks prepared daily
- Nappies, wipes, and sun cream
- All craft and learning resources (e.g. paint, paper, toys)
- Access to all activities, including outdoor learning and enrichment experiences
- Supportive, high-quality care from qualified staff
This approach means you don’t need to worry about packing daily supplies. Your child is fully looked after from drop-off to pick-up.
Funded Childcare Places
Birtle View Day Nursery offers funded early education places to eligible families.
We understand that childcare funding can sometimes feel complicated, so our team will be happy to talk you through the options available and help you understand how your funded hours can be used at Birtle View.
For children attending a fully funded full-day session, the all-inclusive charge is £13.50 per day. For a funded half-day session, the charge is £6.75.
- 15 and 30 hour funded places are available for eligible 2, 3, and 4-year-olds (check if you're eligible here)
- Funded hours are delivered during term-time only (38 weeks) or stretched across the year depending on availability
- Funded places do not cover meals, snacks, or consumables, which may be charged separately

Registration Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of £50 is required when registering your child for a place at Birtle View Day Nursery to secure your child’s place and cover the cost of settling in sessions. This deposit will be deducted from your first month’s invoice. If your child does not start nursery or the place is postponed, the deposit is non-refundable
Our team will explain the registration process and any applicable terms when you enquire about securing a place.
How to Pay
We are a cashless setting and accept the following payment methods:
- Direct Debit (preferred)
- Standing Order
- BACS
- Childcare Vouchers
- Tax-Free Childcare (more info: childcarechoices.gov.uk)
Please use your child’s name as the payment reference.
Early & Late Sessions
We offer flexible care for families who need an earlier drop-off or later pick-up. These sessions are available at an additional cost.
